JED BRANDMAN
PRINCIPAL WATERPROOFING CONSULTANT
Jed Brandman graduated with a BA in Social Ecology with an emphasis in Environmental Analysis & Design from the University of California, Irvine.
Jedidiah practiced environmental consulting for eight years prior to transitioning to the construction industry for building envelope consulting. He joined Intertek (formerly Architectural Testing, Inc.) in 2013 as an entry-level field technician performing ASTM E1105 and ASTM E783 in accordance with AAMA 502, as well as AAMA 501.2. Mr. Brandman quickly moved up to a lead inspector for several multi-family and mixed-use apartment projects for several high-profile clients. He was promoted to Supervisor of Intertek’s Oakland office in 2016 prior to accepting his position at Axis Building Envelope Designs, Inc.
Once coming on board at Axis Building Envelope Design as a Waterproofing Consultant, Mr. Brandman worked in concert with John Harris to manage the entirety of ABED’s projects, employees, and ongoing client growth endeavors. Mr. Brandman is energetically focused on providing needs assessments for existing properties, helping clients solve waterproofing design challenges, performing senior-level field observations & inspections, as well as managing the ongoing fenestration testing division. Mr. Brandman is currently responsible for managing the implementation and award of ABED’s anticipated AAMA/FGIA FTA (Field Test Agency Accreditation).
